Many methods of meditation are available in many countries of the world including India. India's ancient and traditional meditation method is to awaken the chakra. The practice of awaken chakra is called chakra meditation, taught at the Anuvrat Yog Sadhna Kendra.

There are seven chakras in our body -:


  • Muladhara Chakra (Root chakra)
  • Swadhishthana Chakra (sacral
          chakra)
  • Manipur Chakra (solar plexus)
  • Anahat Chakra (Heart chakra)
  • Vishuddhi Chakra (throat chakra)
  • Ajna Chakra (third eye chakra)
  • Sahastrar Chakra (Crown chakra)

  • There is one or two endocrine gland responsible for each chakra


    1. Muladhara Chakra is the main base chakra located on the perineum near to annus.The correct position of the Mooladhara Chakra is located between the anus and the penis/vagina to 1 inch upper side is called perineum.

    2. Swadhishthana Chakra is located near the prostate gland and ovaries.

    3. Manipur Chakra is located near the adrenal gland and pancreas gland.

    4. Anahata Chakra is located near the thymus gland.

    5. The vishuddhi chakra is located near the thyroid and parathyroid.

    6. Ajna chakra is located on the third eye near the pituitary gland.

    7. The Sahasrara Chakra is located near the Pineal Gland, thalamus and Hypothalamus.
